Optometrist recommendations?

Hi all, my optometrist retired. I've needed another eye exam for awhile to get a new prescription anyway, but I'm noticing some problems with one of my eyes so I figured it's time to finally go ahead and do that. I was looking at MyEyeDr, but figured I'd ask here in case anyone had recommendations. Thanks!

5.5 high suddenly sucks

I was absolutely loving 5.5 high for quite awhile there.

Out of no where it just simply sucks. Conversations have no personality, it wants to correct me about everything even if we're agreeing, it no longer sounds human.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Day after neuter, is this normal? Also need advice.

YES I WILL TAKE HIM TO THE VET IF IT IS NOT NORMAL I PROMISE!! I wanted to ask here first so I didn't put any extra unnecessary stress on him (he HATES car rides, being in the carrier, going to the vet, etc. and freaks out, so I worry about that also leading to avoidable complications) Yesterday, my boy was neutered. Is this normal looking? I've never gotten an animal fixed before (normally they already are fixed when adopt). Also, I think he may have been trying to lick it when I was asleep, as there is a very raw spot above his penis and a bit of blood on his cone on the outside near the top. Does anyone have any tips for that? :( So sorry if this is a stupid question. He is currently on meloxicam. He had his dose today and is prescribed some for tomorrow and the day after that.
