One of the best AP/DC in the verse, some of the best physicals in the verse, one of the best durability feats in the verse, the best endurance feats in the verse, evidence of advanced forms of Haki, insane portrayal and narrative significance.
1. AP/DC
Akainu is stated to have the highest tier of offensive power a devil fruit can have.
Hellhound has also never been blocked by anyone. It obviously tore through a weakened Oldbeard, which isn't that impressive, but it wasn't blocked by Kuma either. It didn't even graze Kuma and it was enough to melt a portion of his face. Kuma is AT WORST as heat resistant as steel.
He also tore through Jinbei, someone who can block stuff like this
and get out mostly unharmed. Akainu was injured at this point too.
He's also the only person alongside Kuzan to completely change the climate of any region. Affecting the environment is one of the clearest signs of an awakening. Awakenings and haki blooms happen in extreme-diff battles, and Kuzan vs Akainu is the highest diff battle in the story.
2. Strength/Speed
Akainu and Kuzan have been shown to be dead equal, so Kuzan's physical feats apply to Akainu as well.
Aokiji's strength has been compared to Prime Garp. Akainu would have similar strength. He clashed with a two-handed from Whitebeard with his hands in his pockets.
Akainu's speed is no joke either.
Akainu was able to fight through Commanders and Warlords and still catch up to Jinbei. Jinbei's speed is nothing to laugh at.
Who’s Who can use Geppo and Soru for mobility and speed, and Jinbei was able to keep up with that. This zwip sound was also used for King.
3. Durability
Akainu tanked two quake punches from Whitebeard and suffered minor damage.
Kuzan towards the end of his fight with Garp. He’s not wobbling even after taking a barrage of hits, including Blue Hole. Akainu would have similar durability.
4. Endurance
Akainu has the best endurance feats in verse. He fought a gauntlet of characters at Marineford, including Whitebeard, the entirety of the Whitebeard Pirates, multiple Warlords/Warlord level characters (Jinbei, Ace, Crocodile).
He also fought 10 days against Kuzan. Again, one of the best endurance feats we’ve seen.
5. Advanced Haki
Clearly Aokiji has ACoA, even enough to contend with Old Garp, who has some of the best ACoA feats in the verse. By extension, Akainu has great ACoA too.
The Admirals showed signs of ACoO usage in Marineford.
Both show Akainu morphing himself around attacks, which would require ACoO, or a very high level of CoO at the very least.
Greenbull also shows signs of a high level of CoO, because he was able to sense the Red Haired Pirates when the Haki could’ve come from anywhere.
Akainu is also one of the most strong-willed people, so he has a high chance to have CoC too. If any Marine should have it, it should be Akainu.
6. Portrayal and Narrative Significance
Blackbeard, the same guy who challenged Sengoku at Marineford, was scared shitless by Akainu.
Oda said if Akainu was the protagonist, he would end One Piece in 35 chapters (one year of publication).
He’s a major player in the final saga.
He is going to be an endgame villain, so he would obviously be very strong.
8. Akainu is the most handsome man in the verse
He is HIM.
Everyone who downplays him is fighting a losing battle.
Learn to read, and you’ll realize how strong he is.
Put your faith in HIM.

Recent chapter confirmed that Domi Reversi is a greater boost than Covenants. This is supported by the fact that DR Rocks performed a solo sky-split, which HK Harald did not.
Safe to say that DR Rocks>HK Harald.
GV Whitebeard either clashed with or tanked an attack from DR Rocks and came out unscathed.
The attack's stance is the same as Pandemonium of the Abyss, which would mean that GV Whitebeard clashed with/tanked one of DR Rocks' strongest attacks.
Not to mention the fact that Roger clashed with DR Rocks too.
Roger and Whitebeard also clashed at God Valley.
None of these clashes resulted in a sky-split.
Sky splits after DR Rocks unleashes his haki
Compare that to prime Roger and Whitebeard's clash. A casual clash practically ripped apart the sky.
Clearly, Roger grew a ton after God Valley, especially in terms of ACoC.
There's nothing that indicates that Roger would not have been able to recreate Loki's feats with the help Loki had. Shanks and Gaban did help Loki a lot.
Loki's fight with Imu (and Luffy's eventual fight with Imu) are more about matchup than strength. Imu clearly states Nidhogg's special status multiple times.
Luffy is relative to Kizaru and old Garp is relative to Kuzan. Luffy has yet to surpass old Garp, let alone prime Garp or Roger. Loki and Luffy have been portrayed equal as of now,
Loki was also beat by Shanks, and until further information, it was a fair 1v1. Shanks' crew likely fought Loki's crew (he was accompanied by Giant soldiers) while Shanks beat Loki 1v1
Shanks and Mihawk are relative (though I have Mihawk>=Shanks). Whitebeard's title of World's Strongest Man also holds more weight than Mihawk's title (Kaido's title of World's Strongest Creature isn't official, it's said that people say he's the World's Strongest Creature, while Mihawk's and Whitebeard's titles are stated by the narrator.)
Kaido's official title is King of the Beasts
Kaido, despite having fought Shanks, used Roger as his standard for haki.
Roger is the highest tier of strength before entering Joyboy territory. He will be surpassed eventually by Luffy, but right now, he's Top 1 OAT.
P.S. Big Mom knew about Loki so I doubt the rest of the world didn't, and Shanks' feat of capturing Loki did not grant him the title of WSM.
