I just wanted to share something that happened to me yesterday on the Southern State that I found very disturbing and unsettling
Last night around like 10:30 PM I was driving home and decided to pull over for five mins at that little rest area by exit 13/14 as I had a very bad headache. So as I’m sitting there, I see a older white guy pullover, but not park in a spot he just pulled over and got out of the car and starts walking up to other peoples cars, and it looked like he was just talking to them through the window or asking them something. So I really didn’t think anything of it and just continued to look at my phone as I was getting myself ready to leave and get back on the road I looked up and I saw him walking directly towards me, which I thought was weird because I don’t know this person. I’ve never seen them before in my life, but I thought maybe he got a flat or maybe he needed my help or something and I didn’t wanna be rude if that was the case. So as I’m looking at him getting closer and closer to my car, I noticed that the look he had on his face was pretty unsettling, and he almost looked deranged. After I saw that I decided OK I’m just gonna keep my window rolled up and if he walks up to my window, I’m just gonna ignore him and when he walks away from my car I’m just gonna pull off and continue driving, that’s when he proceeds to come up to my window and start staring at me, licking his lips and trying to grab at my door handle trying to open it. I was so confused and weirded out I was sitting there trying to wave to him and say no to whatever he was saying and just trying to make him get away from my car so I can drive off but he just kept standing there continuing to lick his lips while grabbing at my door handle for a good minute, and then he just turned around and started walking away aimlessly, looking into other people’s windows as he was walking back to his car. Even as I’m writing this right now I’m still in disbelief of what I witnessed and I just wanted to write this here so this doesn’t happen to anybody else because it really was very creepy.

Experiencing the same thing that’s all. I would feel awful if the same thing were to happen to someone else in this sub and they were not prepared or being vigilant and ended up getting hurt and I didn’t at least try to explain what happened to me
And I had just kept it to my self. I posted this just trying to help and with good intentions and I just wanted to make that clear.*
