Hello,
I will soon dine at Helm in Metro Manila. This will be my first Michelin Star Restaurant ever. I am not sure if I should take the wine. I like wine, but 1) it influences the food, because it leaves a strong taste in my mouth, and 2) I barely drink alcohol and I am scared that I get a bit drunk and cant enjoy the food anymore.

Does the wine pairing usually enhance the experience a lot? Would it also be an option to just book the wine for my partner and just try from her drinks?

In June I fly with Etihad over Abu Dhabi (from Germany) and have a Two day layover. Is it safe currently or should I be worried that I cant do this flight?
