Why do you think AIbros hate artists?

I realized the title of the original post had a typo, so I'm starting fresh.

So, I've been looking at videos by artists who are against AI "art" (if it can even be called that). A common thing I've been seeing is this notion that AI bros think artists are "gatekeeping" art, or some crap.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this notion. Why do AI bros think people who produce art are gatekeeping? My head immediately goes to those same people being too lazy/insecure to learn to draw/paint/write/play music.

But, what are your thoughts?

I'm working on a rogues gallery for a character inspired by Jedi, Keyblade wielders, and Benders.

So far I have

• a kind of Gary Stu antagonist inspired by Anakin Skywalker, Kylo Ren, and even Dragon Ball OC called (I wish I was kidding) "Perfection: The Natural Selection." Yeah, go look him up, if you wanna lose braincells.

• An antagonist based on Cenobytes (Hellraiser), and Quan Chi (Mortal Kombat), whom I'm writing as a kind of villain for plots focused on social conflicts, romance, and the like. He already has the kind of kit I go for what with mind control and summoning tentacles.

So, I have two archetypes left: Lawful Evil, and Murderhobo.

For the Lawful evil, I'm thinking of characters such as Freiza and/or Zamasu (Dragon Ball ), Fireworks Ozai (ATLA), Ganondorf, and Emperor Vitiate (SWTOR), or Emporer Palpatine. As of writing this, I realize I have more examples than I thought. So, perhaps I just need help narrowing those down.

For the murderhobo antagonist, I don't have any fictional examples of for such a character that are focused on magic/casting.

Does anyone have any examples?

So, I'm working some scenes to get myself back into creative writing, and I want to get some perspective from Christians.

The scenario takes place in high school. A couple of students -Abigail & David- are assaulted by a group of jocks, and the protagonists intervene to save them. A week after the incident, Abigail -with David trailing along- approaches the group with a basket of cookies she baked them as a token of appreciation.

The protagonists invite them to break bread with them, and Abigail uses this opportunity to get self-defense advice from the protagonists.

However, David keeps trying to derail the conversation: making passive-aggressive remarks that make the protagonists out to be either violent thugs, or hypocrites, even insinuating that martial arts are "satanic"; using Bible quotes to make appeals to authority.

As Christians, how would react/respond to David's remarks. Also, are there Bible verses that can be used to support self-defense, and/or defending others from violence?
