Defending AI Art banned me from speaking the truth:

They’ve since deleted the post, but fortunately I had the foresight to screenshot it before they could. As you can see, it’s not only incredibly bizarre, but also blatantly racist.

I wanted to make a formal apology

according to most of the top Al detection websites, all of my drawings are Al, and since I remember drawing them that means I am an AI. I wanted to apologize for using Al when I draw on my IPad, I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement and I don't expect to be forgiven.

Am I wrong here?

New to the community!
Am I wrong here? Lately I’ve been enjoying building a brand in my free time when my son goes to sleep. Of course I use A. I. I would not be able to get this creative if not. As soon as I ask for Reddit input I get bashed for using AI. I thoroughly enjoy what I make and others do to. But why the negative around something that is inevitably here? I believe everyone should be using it to get creative.

Reminder: Spider-Verse's inkline system is machine learning (AI) that automated a job artists used to do by hand

Spiderverse gets praised for its handdrawn look but those facial ink lines? A machine learning model predicted most of them. Sony's own FX supervisor said they were "teaching the computer to make drawings that we find redundant." Two movies down, one on the way, and not a single peep about it. Nobody called it AI, nobody protested, but it still automated A LOT of work that artists would've done manually.

(Edit: After what Sony has done this week, it just caused me to rethink my position on AI in general.)

Traced over AI art?

I've been staring at these works for a bit and they genuinely feel like traced over AI art, the style is so inconsistent on this artist's page, I genuinely feel like it's ai art they just traced

the eyes on the second slide, there's an odd line in the right eye's iris as compared to the left eye, the hair next to the right eye is oddly merged into the cheek fur and the line stroke inside the top of the right ear's fluff is suddenly curved inwards

On the first slide with the tiger, the stripe/patterns are inconsistent and very blurred/merged together, the cheek stripes don't match with either side and there's weird blacked out parts above the chest

I'm still unsure truthfully, maybe it could be someone practicing? It's just that they offer commissions, which is why I'm asking in the first place, if I'm wrong then I'll delete the post, i made this whole post because this artist is selling works like these as commissions

New copyright shareholder derivative suit v. Microsoft, its directors & officers. Microsoft becomes 2d company hit with new legal theory.

"shareholder derivative lawsuits under securities law that are based on the allegation that corporate officers or the board of directors approved copyright infringement, exposed the company to substantial risk of copyright liability, or made material misrepresentations about such conduct.

Adobe already faces 2 such lawsuits. Now Microsoft was just hit with another such lawsuit."

Can't tell if this is AI or not

Hello so my friend said he drew this artwork of a character of his but I can't tell if it's real or AI.

Very good video game that used ai for one thing but everything else was done by humans

Idk if this is the right place to put this but I'll put it up just in case

There's a very good indie horror game that I played recently. I won't say the name just for privacy's sake.

The art for it was done by humans

The idea for the game came from humans

The story was written by humans

The gameplay and pretty much everything else was also created by humans and was overall very well crafted.

However, unfortunately, they used AI for the voice acting.

When asked why, they said it was because it added to the creepy atmosphere of the game. Though I disagree with this claim.

One review said they should have hired voice actors which I agree with because I consider voice actors artists. THAT would have added to the creepy atmosphere imo.

So since they don't seem to hate art or artists, what's your take on this?

You can't even write articulately anymore because the writing sounds like a “ChatGPT” prompt.

So, we as writers, especially the ones who have been writing since our youth to now, honing our craft/style we have in our own ways. Some of us look up more words than others and go into different words that aren't used as an “everyday” term. This has been happening a shiitake load to anyone who writes just articulatively! But I suppose anything that sounds not “everyday” in writing is going to raise an eyebrow sadly. I just had my post taken down after a load of users commented:

Did you use ChatGPT?

What's with the AI prompt?

Weird you use AI to write for you, bro.

When I have been learning and writing like this throughout my whole life. I learned new words to use in my sentences to better deliver what I want to convey. But no, having something even as long as this would be considered “AI” made.

AI has ruined the writing world as much as it has for artists, both young and old.

Utterly sickening.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this when you have the time.

Thank you.

Without musicians, visual artist, animators, writers, etc. the AI would’ve had nothing to reference to generate in the first place. I hope AI users acknowledge this.

That fursona image they prompted, was referenced by art a visual artist that took they’re time to sketch, learn Anatomy and shading and colouring theory to create those.

Those comics they generated, marvel, dc, small comic makers that learnt paneling, story boarding, dialogues, actions scenes.

That song that got generated, singers that practiced their vocal Cords and techniques, instruments that people took years to learn, understand each note placement, learn tempos and beats.

We all have our opinions here. But i just hope the artists that worked hard for hours to years to create, are acknowledged.
