Family of 3. Recently had a 10 day Taiwan trip and the last 2 night 3 day we decided to use one of the edit hotel credits. The only option in Taiwan is hotel Proverbs in Taipei.
Price/booking:
Booking was pretty expensive but with the credit and point boost I ended up using about 30k points for it. It didn’t allow me to book on the Chase app with 3 people but if you read the hotel policies kids under a certain age are free so I booked 2 adults, no kids, and showed up and was fine.
Perks:
Got to the hotel and was able to check in at 2:30. We were given free tea and coffee at the bar and the welcome amenity was a bottle of sparkling red wine. $100 credit was $3,000NTD to be used at the bar or restaurant. We used it for dinner one night and had a pretty nice meal- tomahawk pork chop, lobster pasta, and a couple of apps. Free breakfast for all 3 of us and breakfast was good.
Others:
The hotel itself is pretty nice, dark and modern aesthetic. They clean your room twice a day which is nice and give you free water and snacks in the room that they also refill.
The location is great, 5 minutes walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT stop and a ton of restaurants and street food in walking distance.
Overall, I’m happy with my experience. I also wasn’t blown away by the hotel, but it was nice and I was blown away by Taiwan more in general!
