What's the first app you installed on your Shopify store and would you install it again?

Trying to figure out what's actually worth adding early on vs what can wait. There are so many apps it's overwhelming. What did you start with? Thank you in advance.

What's a small thing strangers do in public that bothers you way more than it probably should?

As a dog mom myself I always clean up after my dog, it takes 10 seconds. So it drives me crazy when I see people just walk away and leave it, especially when there's a sign right there telling them not to. I get that we're all distracted sometimes but come on. What's yours?

How do you decide what to spend money on when you're selling digital products with almost no budget?

I've been building out a digital product business and the budget question is genuinely stressing me out. There's no inventory cost, which is great — but there are still so many places money can go: design tools, email marketing, ads, a better website, SEO tools, courses...

Every week I feel like I'm choosing between 5 things that all seem important. I keep defaulting to free versions of everything but I'm starting to wonder if that's slowing me down or if it's actually the right move early on.

For those selling digital products or running an online service — what did you actually pay for first? What did you hold off on? And in hindsight, was that the right call?

Have you ever felt excited to start a small business, but also overwhelmed by everything you need to figure out?

That’s exactly where I am right now.
Starting a business sounds exciting, but the reality is there are so many decisions: budget, product, website, marketing, customers, and where to focus first.
I’m learning that I don’t need everything to be perfect from day one. I just need to start, test, listen, and improve step by step.
For other small business owners, what’s one thing you wish you knew when you were just starting?

Anyone else struggle with knowing where to spend their limited budget when starting an online business?

I'm in the early stages of building my store and keep going back and forth between investing in the website, buying more inventory, running ads, or saving the money for unexpected expenses.

Part of me wants everything to look professional from day one, but another part thinks I should just launch, learn, and improve as I go.

For those who've been through this already, what was the best investment you made early on, and what do you wish you hadn't spent money on?

Would love to hear your experiences.
