I put my hd competitor in an IDPA CO box and the OEM competitor magwell is sitting just a little too high. I could just grind it down to fit but was looking at Floyd’s as an alternative. I am pretty sure their full size edc magwell will fit but was wanting to see how their full size competition magwell compared to the OEM competitor magwell because from photos it looks like it may fit (hard to tell bc they don’t have the dimensions posted) and would like the full size competition over the edc if possible.

Any help/insight appreciated!

***** Update: Email sent to Floyd’s … dimensions were 1.6” (or a hair under) wide, 2.6” from front to back and .375” from the bottom of the frame … box is 1.625” … I ordered the competition one to see if it will fit … if it doesn’t their EDC magwell should def fit … will report back when it comes in

So I had another post up about talking me out of it … well I caved lol. One thing that sucks, I have a vortex defender xl sitting on my desk that I went to mount. Apparently S&W is only shipping the type 1-5 plates with the HD … plate 6 is for the DPP footprint. I was planning on using the OEM polymer plate until calculated kinetics had a restock … I called S&W and they were going to send me out the type 6 plate but it’ll take 10-14 business days … looks like irons it is for the next few weeks lol (unless calculated restocks before lol)
