is this a tongue tie?

thats as wide as i can open & as far as my tongue goes. i was trying to touch where your tongue would go if you were saying “n”. no can do. can’t touch anything unless i close my mouth about 50%.

i have TMJ, migraines, some malfunction of my jaw when im opening/closing (when opening, it slides forward. when closing, it reaches a point where it slides backwards in place). bruxism. i cracked 2 teeth last year in one night.

i have mandibular torii and another on my palate. STILL can’t touch it with my tongue.

i’ve started sketching and it’s going well. well enough!

i love gouache and watercolor.

i think gouache is a better (easier) next step as opposed to watercolor?

how do you start from scratch with gouache? i live in a country in which i don’t speak the language, so i’m a little more limited on local resources. how do i figure this out on my own? basic supplies? skills? techniques? i can order Amazon from the US, thankfully.

any info is appreciated.
