Oh my GOODNESS the theater was so alive!!!! I’ve seen it before but there was such life in it from the actors today and the audience was absolutely eating it up.
Betsy Wolfe was INCREDIBLE. She was so hysterical. I first saw her about a week after she stepped into the role, and she was amazing then, but I could really tell that she found her footing in the role. Her comedic timing was impeccable, and her vocals were INSANE!!!! I was tearing up at Alive Forever. She and Jennifer Simard (who was amazing, of course), mesh so well together. Their chemistry felt so real and I loved every moment of it.
The audience was also so much fun tonight!!!! Everyone was laughing so hard and cheering for every actor; it felt so lively.
If you can see it before it closes, I 10000% encourage you to. I could not recommend this more highly and I personally cannot wait to see it again!!!! I will probably be doing rush for it in like two days LOL
