Plus about two dozen SFSE mods.
See, told ya. lol
A year ago today I stopped lurking here and posted a ship. It's been one hell of a year and quite the journey. I thought about posting a highlight roll or some such but when it comes to presentation I suck so I built me a battleship instead, even gave it a drone hanger. Not entirely sure I pulled that part off, a little awkward to build and to photograph but it's there. Mod list is, as ever, all of 'em. if you really need to know please do ask.
Now in the hands of a privateer, formerly a war time aerial denial swarm component. A pilot and two gunners bringing it where it was needed, beloved of their crews, and often named by them, these incredibly agile fighters got it done with the minimum of fuss. A small plaque in the crew space of this one reads 'The Doorman, your name better be on our list'
Close as I can get for now, the proportions are a little off and I'll probably tinker some but not yet. Three days of my time is long enough. Given the response to the discussion post (way more likes than any ship I ever built, lol) I hope I've done it justice.
I have no earthly clue how I put this together so please don't ask for a guide. Mod list, as ever, is all of 'em. If you must know please do ask.
So I found this picture, just this one, no info though. No who, what, where, why or when. I can see it's a Lego version or whatever but of what? Help me out guys.
A few rehashed old ideas mixed in with the new parts. Bit of something to burn a couple of hours I guess. Mod list is too many to list but if you must know please do ask.
Thanks to u/wizzackr and the new ASC T mod I thought I'd finally have a crack at this Masterpiece by Rasmus. There are still bits here and there can't be done but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Had to trim the mod list to get it to work, familiar story for me it seems, but we cookin' now! Still runs to 90 odd mods so if you must know please do ask but I ain't writing it out for sport.
Sporting two drop ships for it's compliment of Operators, it's huge interstellar booster gets it where it's going then separates and waits to allow for more nimble in-system transit and planet side incursion should the need arise beyond the drop ships.
Mod list runs to more than 100 items so if anyone really needs to know then please do ask but the heavy lifters here are CHI, ASC and SMSEX.
A battle cruiser which will never see starlight passed this test run. The whole ship is built around four massive BFG's in the nose which turned out to be unlabelled turrets. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Trying to track down the mod that provides this engine, someone has asked me which it is and I can't remember.
The vague notion that he should pick his jaw up off the floor and congratulate his son floated through his mind. He knew he'd catch up to it soon, but for now he just looked. Three years earlier, he'd felt well, let's just say, a little less happy. The smuggler stood with his son in the hanger he'd won at the card table two nights ago, surveying its contents, which he'd also won, yay! His son had taken one look and wandered off chuckling, probably looking for somewhere to park his arse.
The smuggler knew he'd been stiffed, and he was less happy about the affair. A patient man, he'd bide his time knowing he'd see the favour returned, but for now he wandered around trying to find anything of worth in this shit pile. Presently, he found himself returning to the 'ship' which barely got a glance as he headed off to find his son. "Where you at?" He hollered, "Up here. There's beer, and it's cold." Well, not an entire loss then, he thought. Always the small things. He found his son's feet up, pointing at the little fridge under the desk. No sooner had he grabbed a beer, his son said, "Can I have it?" "What? You've already got one. "No, not the beer Dad, the ship." He's off his nut, he thought, glancing around for empty cans or stims. There weren't any. My God, it's worse than that, he actually means it. "You want that rusty pile of parts out there? Take it, there's nothing of any worth here for me. Have the lot, Hanger and all." "Lovely, I'll have another beer then. Cheers Dad." "Listen up though, you gotta do something with it. If I come back in a few months and it's the same, the whole bloody lot goes to the Scrappy." "No worries Dad, I'm gonna have fun with this."
