Help me build my ships.

Help me build my ships.

This is my class B assault craft, and I have it pretty well laid out. I am using the stroud eckland modules that have the "nice" interior, but my interior corridors and hatches won't line up. I am on Xbox. I know the double trigger and A trick to build off of a connection, but on my A class ship, it's unpredictable. I love this game, but I am burnt out after spending 2 days building a ship I can't access rooms in.

Opinions please! 2 versions of my Leafcutter

Hi all, this is The Leafcutter, a Razorleaf total conversion, and my first ship posted to this subreddit. Credit to u/cardinal151515 for inspiration taken from his lovely TAC-47 Yellowjacket.

Here's my question: which version should I use: high cockpit or midline cockpit? I think midline looks meaner and sleeker, but the shipwright roleplayer in me is unhappy with its obstructed pilot sightlines. The high cockpit version I actually think is more distinctive, and has a utilitarian charm.

As you might guess from the color scheme, I'm presently playing a bounty hunter character, running through the Trackers Alliance DLC and contemplating picking up Zone79's latest, The Headhunter.

Anyway, I hope you all like it, and please weigh in on which version I should fly!

My Enterprise Build (without ladders

Mods used: Stroud Premium Edition.

.. i've deleted my post from 2 hours ago, bc. i was not happy with the style. This is the same ship - now in pure beauty and with slides. ;-)

My Taiyo Collection

This is my current fleet. I really like the clean curves of the Taiyo parts. Dead Pony is my daily ride - it's not particularly fast or much use if there's more than three enemy ships, but Delta likes it.

Stinger Mantis (Jedi Survivor)

Also built this one using only Falkland and ASC Deimos mods.

The Geronimo!

Started as the Razorleaf, then fully started from scratch with its parts and it’s now B class.
Most of the habs are Falkland and the engines are from Avontech.
I started with a podracer style in mind and have been tweaking this for the last couple weeks, so maybe fits with the podracer challenge? Not sure how that works.
The last picture is my original engine set up. I’l still on the fence between more engine plumes vs less.

Weyland-Yutani Narcissus(Militarized) - Teardown, parts list, and build guide.

The people asked (well, a few did anyway) so heres all the gory deets on how I built this thing. Link to the vid in the comments.

Notes and disclaimers.

I am Old Dude so theres no Youtube Channel or anything which means I'm not going to hassle you to Subscribe but you don't get a voiceover either. I'm from the 70s and that kind of thing is too fancy for me.

This is finicky build and it's easy to wind up with stuff all misaligned if you're not careful. For this reason I've left off a lot of the fancier greebling and all the Equipment that's on my personal build, but once you've got the hull assembled its easy enough to stick them on, or swap weapons to whatever your heart desires.

The sub-assemblies I've got staged at the start of the clip don't require any glitching but you won't be able to get them to connect properly to each other without adjusting the overlap tolerance with Ship Building Tweaks.

HALF of the module count for this thing is the BSPF Nova Mini-bracers that hold this thing together. I've highlighted them all so they're easy to see.

IMPORTANT: In the video there are four blue minibracers that I delete at a certain point. These are only there to make the front end assembly easier but the back end WILL NOT ATTACH PROPERLY if you don't remove them the way I did in the video.

UPDATED!!! My new ship design.

I had posted my ship and asked for advice on different things I could do, and this is the result. I had to redo my layout, but didn’t lose anything in the process. I really like how it turned out.

Bring The Noise - [PB's Podracer Challenge]

“As part of Mr. Lee's good neighbor policy, all Rat Things are programmed never to break the sound barrier in a populated area. But Fido's in too much of a hurry to worry about the good neighbor policy. Jack the sound barrier. Bring the noise.”

Based around the Drake C7 cockpit and structural parts from the Antares Shipyards, plus engines salvaged from a T67 xwing, November Seven Shipwrights presents their entry into the podracing league, Bring The Noise.
