Lombardo’s New Data Center Spin Trying to Win Your Vote: Education Funding

After defending his unwavering support for data centers, Gov. Lombardo has a new spin on them to try and win over voters: education funding.

Clark County Education Association says they could bring in up to $500 million a year to fund public schools. The math on this promise does not actually hold up.

Forest Service Staff Leaves Before Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo Speaks at Tahoe Summit

Nevada asked for $17.1 MILLION to fund its Division of Forestry. Lombardo recommended just $13.8 million — $3.25 MILLION LESS than what the agency requested. At a time when Nevada faces serious wildfire threats, cutting millions from the requested funding is a decision Nevadans deserve answers about. And Trump’s cuts to federal wildfire prevention, firefighting, and forest-management programs have only made the situation worse, putting even more pressure on Nevada’s resources and leaving communities at greater risk.

The audit also identified questionable credit-card spending and recommended stronger safeguards against fraud, waste, and abuse.

Iowa Farmer says “Farmers Did Nothing Wrong” —You Voted For This, That’s What You Did Wrong. You Made Your Choice.

Netanyahu has been sounding the alarm about Iran’s nuclear program for decades. As far back as 1992, he was warning that Iran was only a few years away from a nuclear weapon, and in 2012 he famously went before the U.N. with his “red line,” pushing the Obama administration toward a much harder deadline and keeping military action on the table. Obama resisted that pressure, arguing there was still time for diplomacy rather than rushing into another Middle East war.

That history matters now. Trump ultimately chose the military path that previous administrations had repeatedly tried to avoid, and the U.S. and Israel began the current war with Iran in February 2026. Netanyahu had been making the case for confronting Iran militarily for years; Trump was the president who ultimately acted alongside Israel. Whatever you think of Iran or Netanyahu, Americans should understand that this argument didn’t suddenly appear in 2026—it had been made for decades.

Farmers Who Voted For Trump: “We Are Fighting For Our Survival”

Based on reports from September 18–23, 2026, American farmers are facing record diesel prices exceeding $6.50 a gallon, with some spending $1,500 a day to fuel a single combine. Fertilizer costs are climbing, grain transportation fuel surcharges have surged 153% year over year, and trade tensions with Canada are creating additional uncertainty over export markets. With some crop producers struggling to break even, farmers are entering harvest season under significant financial pressure.

IOWA FARMER: "These high diesel prices couldn't have come at a worse time."

They paying approximately $5.50 per gallon for farm diesel, up 90% from $2.89 in February. Retail diesel is averaging $6.31 per gallon. One lowa farmer reports using 800 gallons daily, with fuel costs rising by an estimated $75,000 per month just as harvest begins.

Leopards Snacking in Cali’s 22nd Farming District: Regret Their Vote as Medicaid Cuts Threaten Their Healthcare

California’s 22nd Congressional District shows how significant the Medicaid cuts could be for communities that depend on government-funded healthcare. Nearly two-thirds of its residents, approximately 527,000 people, are enrolled in Medi-Cal. Yet their Republican representative, David Valadao, voted for Trump’s 2025 budget legislation, which cuts federal Medicaid spending.

More than 60,000 district residents are projected to lose coverage as new federal requirements take effect

Cattle Ranchers Explains Why USDA Inspections Matter: “Do You Know How Many Crooked Farmers There Are?”

USDA inspections matter because food safety should never depend on how honest a farmer or meat producer claims to be. Without proper oversight, contaminated meat, unsanitary processing conditions, and unsafe practices can put millions of Americans at risk. Inspections help identify potential hazards, enforce safety standards, and hold businesses accountable before unsafe beef reaches your dinner table.

And as this rancher points out, not everyone in the industry can be trusted to put public health ahead of profit. That's exactly why independent oversight matters: consumers deserve more than someone's word that their food is safe.

Trump Supporters Say We Have “Zero Empathy” for American Farmers

Empathy doesn’t mean pretending political choices have no consequences. Many rural voters supported policies they believed would help them, and when those choices contribute to financial struggles, acknowledging that responsibility is not cruelty. Criticizing the policies and decisions that helped create the problem isn’t the same as celebrating anyone’s suffering.

Farmers Hate “Socialism”—But They’ve Always Been America’s Welfare Queens

TT | BlueWaveRising

Farmers can’t simply raise prices to make up the difference because they sell into global markets, where competition sets the price. Tariffs therefore bring higher input costs, lost buyers, canceled orders, shrinking margins, and more debt. At the same time, rising oil prices, especially the cost of diesel used to run tractors, combines, trucks, irrigation pumps, and other equipment, push operating expenses even higher.

That’s why farmers are asking taxpayers to bail them out. This isn’t just about tariffs or temporary relief, it’s a demand for government support to cover losses caused by policies and rising fuel costs that have made it harder to stay afloat. But I thought this is what they voted for, to make their farm “great again”.

“Why Does It Matter Who I Voted For?”: Jack Explains This Perfectly & What Farmers Could Do to Make It Right

TT | Jace Vek

Your vote isn’t just about the name you checked on a ballot. It’s about what that person represents and what you gave them the power to do once they took office.

The policies they pass, the rights they protect or take away, the communities they support or target, and the consequences of their decisions all matter. You may not personally agree with everything they do, but people are allowed to judge what their money supports based on the leaders you chose to support.

You were free to cast your vote. Others are just as free to decide where they spend their money.
A vote lasts a moment. What you voted to put into power can last for years.

Farmer Loses 250k of Revenue Due to Ice Raids

The result is exactly what farmers were warned about: crops don’t wait for politics. When experienced agricultural workers disappear, fruit stays on the trees and rots, farmers lose revenue, workers lose wages, and those losses can eventually work their way into food prices. Reporting shows this isn’t simply about undocumented workers either, the fear surrounding enforcement has affected workers with legal status and work authorization as well.

In Real Time Iowa Farmer Faces Reality: Fertilizer Costs Are Putting Him Out of Business

Fertilizer costs are squeezing American farmers at a time when many already have razor-thin margins. USDA now forecasts fertilizer, lime and soil-conditioner expenses will rise 15.3% in 2026, adding roughly $5.3 billion to farmers’ costs. Total U.S. farm production expenses are projected to reach nearly $493 billion this year. Economic Research Service

In Iowa, the numbers are brutal. One farmer reported nitrogen fertilizer rising from about $490 per ton in 2021 to $1,150 per ton this year.

Another Iowa farmer said fertilizer prices are the highest he’s ever experienced. When the cost of simply putting a crop in the ground keeps climbing while farm margins remain tight, farmers aren’t just making less money, they’re being pushed toward the point where farming itself is no longer financially sustainable.
