Looking for a premium neckband with excellent sound quality

I’m looking for a **premium neckband-style wireless earphone**, but I’m having a hard time finding something that matches what I want.

I **don’t like TWS/true wireless earbuds**, so I specifically want the two earbuds connected by a cable/neckband.

I’ve used/tried quite a few models, including **B&O Beoplay E6 Motion, Sony WI-SP600N, JBL Endurance 2, Beats Flex, Anker Soundcore Life**, and several others.

The **B&O Beoplay E6 Motion** is probably the closest to what I’ve liked so far, especially in terms of design, comfort and overall premium feel.

My **#1 priority is sound quality**.

I’m looking for something with excellent clarity, detail, separation and a natural sound. I don't want something that simply gets very loud or has heavily boosted bass. At higher volumes, some cheaper neckbands become harsh/fatiguing and lose clarity, which is exactly what I want to avoid.

Ideally:

* Excellent sound quality / clarity
* Good detail at higher volumes without harshness
* Balanced and natural tuning
* Premium build quality and materials
* Slim, elegant design
* Comfortable for long listening sessions
* **10+ hours battery life**
* USB-C preferred
* ANC is a bonus but not essential
* **Definitely not TWS**

I’m open to premium brands like **B&O, Sony, Bowers & Wilkins, Sennheiser, Bose, Shure, Technics**, etc., as well as lesser-known brands if they genuinely sound good.

I’m willing to buy internationally, so availability isn't an issue.

**What neckband would you recommend if sound quality is the main priority?**

Why did premium neckband earphones almost completely disappear?

I've been wondering about this for a while. There are still plenty of **low-budget neckband earphones** on the market, but almost all the premium brands seem to have abandoned the form factor.

Brands like **B&O, Sony, Sennheiser, Bose, JBL, Bowers & Wilkins**, etc. have mostly moved toward TWS.

I actually prefer the neckband design. It's lightweight, there's no charging case to carry around, the earbuds are harder to lose, and I find them more convenient for everyday use.

I've used/tried quite a few over the years, including **B&O Beoplay E6 Motion, Sony WI-SP600N, JBL Endurance 2, Beats Flex, Anker**, and others.

What I find interesting is that the **low-budget market is still full of neckbands**, but they often seem to focus on loudness and boosted bass rather than actual sound quality. When you increase the volume, some become harsh or fatiguing, and the clarity/detail suffers.

Why isn't there a modern premium option with something like:

* Audiophile-level sound quality
* Excellent clarity and separation
* Good performance at higher volumes
* Premium materials/build
* Slim and comfortable design
* USB-C
* **10–20+ hours battery life**
* Optional ANC

The technology should surely be capable of this by now.

**Did consumers simply move entirely to TWS, or is there another reason premium manufacturers stopped making neckbands?**

And if anyone knows of a **current premium neckband that actually sounds excellent**, I'd love to hear about it.

Mi Box S MDZ-22-AB (oneday) Android 12 r4560 – Looking for Full Recovery ZIP

Hi everyone,

I have a Xiaomi Mi Box S (MDZ-22-AB, codename: oneday).

Recovery shows:

  • Android 12
  • STTC.230106.001
  • Build 4560

The device is stuck at:

Mi logo → No command

Recovery and Fastboot are accessible.

I've already tried:

  • Factory reset
  • Wipe cache
  • Several OTA ZIPs from XDA
  • Older packages fail with "Can't install this package over newer build"

I'm NOT looking for USB Burning Tool images or .img files.

I'm specifically looking for:

  • Full recovery-installable OTA ZIP for MDZ-22-AB (oneday)
  • Full Android 12 ZIP that can be installed from Recovery → Apply update from UDisk
  • Any ZIP newer than or different from the commonly shared b4bb324aaa0cd607b52d9135878f0fa6169eaf08 package
  • Repair/recovery ZIP confirmed to work on STTC.230106.001 (build 4560)

If anyone has a direct link or mirror, please share it.

Thank you.
