OnePlus Buds 3 (at ~4.5k) vs Buds 4 (at 6k) or look elsewhere? Need advice on bass/ANC!

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a last reality check before I buy. I’m currently looking for the OnePlus Buds 3, which I can grab them for ₹4,099. They look premium AF, but I'm completely stuck on whether I should just buy them or stretch my budget by another ₹1.5k – ₹2k for the OnePlus Buds 4 or Oppo Enco Air 5.

Here are my specific concerns and what I'm looking for:

1. My Audio Preferences

The Sound: I’m looking for the absolute best sound quality at this price. I love a slightly bass-heavy sound signature, but the overall music quality and clarity shouldn't be compromised (I don't want muddy vocals).

The ANC: I need decent to good Active Noise Cancellation. This will be my first time owning earbuds with ANC, so I don't have any past experiences to judge or compare against.

2. Is it worth stretching the budget?

For those who have tested both the Buds 3 and the higher-tier options (like Buds 4 / Oppo Enco Air 5):

Does the extra ₹1,500 – ₹2,000 price jump actually justify itself in terms of noticeable real-world sound quality and ANC improvements?

Or do you hit diminishing returns for someone with my music taste?

3. Benchmarking (How much better do they sound?)

To help me understand the actual audio jump, I want to know how the OnePlus Buds 3 compare to what I know. If you have owned or transitioned from any of these, how much better do the Buds 3 sound compared to:

boAt Nirvana Ion

OnePlus Z2 Neckband

CMF Buds 2A

Should I pull the trigger right now on the Buds 3 for ₹4,099, or should I wait/spend more? I would appreciate any help!

salnotes 7hz zero have white noise

So basically they don't make noise when no music is playing but as soon as a sound come they start making horrible white noise that are definitely noticeable, also when the music get paused they make a sound like creaking or idk some digital noise. I don't think that's normal but I've heard that I could be possible that they just don't pair well with my phone (samsung a26) and that I should buy a sort of adaptor???

It's usb btw

Should I buy it?

Hi! I've always been an old fashioned type of teenager and always bought my earphones with wires on, but when I go to the gym it gets difficult when running to have the wires always and constantly banging on your chest and face, so I decided to buy wireless earphones. I am new at this, so I don't know what to choose and look for, but I looked at this OPPO ENCO BUDS 3 because I guess it is cheap and its the same brand (Oppo) as my phone. The question is: Is it good for me, or the price says it all and its crap?

I don't want to spend much money on this, but i also do not want to buy "bad" earphones.

Whats your feedback?

Do headphones with usb-c sound different than headphones with 3.5 mm jacks?

I recently bought a new laptop, an HP Omnibook X. I'm currently traveling and wanted to buy a new basic pair of headphones and decided to go with one with a usb-c. I feell like the sound is not as high as my headphones with the 3.5 mm jack. I don't have my other headphones with me to do an actual comparison.

Static from clothes seemed to kill my apple, Belkin, and now soundcore earphones/buds

Hi everyone,
I’m not sure what to do.
I prefer wired earphones since they don’t give me headaches.
In the span of 1.5 months my apple earphones stopped working after my clothes shocked them. One side then the next stopped working. Then I bought Belkin earphones and the exact same thing happened. Then I bought soundcore earbuds thinking it was a wire problem but the same thing happened so now I have one working earbud.
I’ve used methods for getting rid of static electricity so this one earbud has been alive for maybe 3 months now.

Is there any way to fix this? Google said static electricity isn’t strong enough but I can literally feel and hear as it happens and as the earphones start to weaken and stop working.

Earphone Suggestions?

My AirPods stopped working and I want new earphones but NOT made by Apple. I'm not sure if I want wired or Bluetooth yet, so both suggestions would be welcome. My budget is around $150-$200. I'm looking for good audio quality, comfort, and style. Thanks!

open ear or bone conduction for riding? recs, pleeeease

I usually ride by myself, an hour or two at a time, and ngl it can get kinda boring. During prime days, I’m gonna pick up a pair of open-ear stuff for riding, so I can listen to music or a podcast while hearing surroundings to stay safe on the road. But the open-style earbuds I’ve tried so far either get a bit loose when I’m going up or down hills, or they clash with my glasses while sitting on my ears. Curious what you guys are using these days. Around $100 budget.

Just got the Realme T500 pro, it's worth every penny.

For a budget earbuds under 3k, the realme T500 pro comes with 50db noise cancellation, realme link app, customisation option for different music modes, ai voice translation, Mind flow music is the best with noise cancellation turned on. I Highly recommend this
