Looking for advice on first bike
Currently looking to purchase my first road bike to train for a half ironman.
I cam across this bike priced at $715 usd and was looking on opinons or advice
Frame: Carbon, size 54
Groupset: Shimano 105 (11-speed) — chainset marked Shimano SG-X 53-B, cassette marked CS-5800
Pedals: Shimano SPD-SL (currently stuck/seized — priced accordingly)
Wheels: Assume alloy (not confirmed as carbon)
Tires: Clincher with tubes
Handlebar tape: New as of 2023
Stem: Longer Giant stem currently fitted (for 188cm rider); original stem included
Mileage: Unknown — estimated under 500km under current ownership since 2023, prior use unknown
Condition notes: Occasional sluggish shifting between high/low range after storage, resolves with a few rides or a service
