[Recommendation]

I'm in the mood for a manhwa where the MC gets transported into a game, another world, a tower, or has a game-like system and gradually becomes insanely overpowered. I love satisfying progression, grinding, skills, classes, dungeons, loot, and watching the MC get stronger over time.

I'm looking for:

Manhwa or Manhua

Preferably 150–300+ chapters (longer is better)

Finished if possible, but ongoing is okay if it's really worth it

Good world-building and a smart or badass MC

Hidden gems are welcome—I don't mind older series either.

Hi everyone,

I'm waiting to collect my Swiss Schengen visa passport from VFS.

Before my application was processed, the official EU EES online tool always showed:

"Authorised stay: NOT OK."

Today, after receiving the email that my passport is ready for collection, I entered the exact same passport details and travel dates, and it now shows:

"Authorised stay: OK"

It also calculated my remaining days of authorised stay for my planned 14-day trip.

Has anyone else experienced this? If your EES status changed from NOT OK to OK before collecting your passport, did it end up meaning your visa was approved?

I know the passport is the only official confirmation, but I'm curious whether the EES tool has been accurate for others.

I'm still pretty new to manga and manhwa, so I don't really know what I like yet. So far I've only read The Greatest Estate Developer and Oyasumi Punpun (Goodnight Punpun), and I absolutely loved both, even though they're completely different.

I don't really mind the genre—action, psychological, fantasy, romance, comedy, mystery, anything. I just want something that's genuinely fun to read and hard to put down.

One thing I really enjoyed in The Greatest Estate Developer was the constant sense of progression and watching things improve over time. But I'm open to anything if it's a great read.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has gone through a similar Swiss visitor visa process.

I applied for a short-term Switzerland visitor visa to stay with a close family member for about 2 weeks. VFS accepted my application, biometrics were taken, and the application was forwarded to the Swiss Embassy.

After reviewing the file, the embassy requested a Verpflichtungserklärung / guarantee declaration from my host in Switzerland. My host submitted it to the cantonal migration office.

Later, the authorities asked my host for two extra things:

1. Updated accommodation address / rental contract, because the previous rent contract ended before my planned trip.

2. Proof of residence permit renewal, because the current residence permit expires shortly after my trip.

My host has now submitted:

- The new rental contract.

- A receipt for the residence permit renewal.

- Proof/paper showing that the renewal application was submitted.

Important note: the current residence permit expires around 2 weeks after I leave Switzerland, so it is still valid during my planned stay.

My application also includes:

- Employment letter.

- Approved leave from work.

- Salary information.

- Travel insurance.

- Invitation/accommodation with my host.

- One previous international trip outside my country.

Has anyone had the Swiss migration office ask the host for updated rent contract and permit renewal proof after submitting the guarantee declaration? Is this usually just a file-completion step, or can it still lead to refusal?

I know nobody can predict the final decision, but I’m trying to understand whether this sounds like normal processing or a serious red flag.

The host meets the income requirement mentioned by the authorities and only supports themselves financially. Travel insurance, invitation, accommodation details, employment documents, leave approval, and salary information were all submitted with the application.

This is my first Schengen visa, but I do have previous international travel experience (GCC country). I am employed full-time and have been with my current employer for about a year.

The immigration office employee told my host that the visa should be ready in about a week or so, but I'm not sure whether that was just an estimate or whether it indicates that everything is moving normally.

Just trying to understand where I stand while waiting. The waiting is honestly the hardest part (From Lebanon)
