Advice for a Beginner on a Project

Hi everyone,

I’d really appreciate some advice on my project. I’m a beginner in this field.

I have a restaurant where I’m planning to launch this project by the end of October.

Project description

I want to create an immersive theater-style experience where projections are displayed on both the walls and the table. An animated story/cartoon will be playing, and everything will be synchronized with ventilation, scent diffusers, etc.

The scent diffusers are custom-made, so I can connect them to virtually any control system if needed.

At the moment, I have two projectors, so I’m planning to start with those:

  • one projector for the table;
  • one projector for the wall.

So, where should I start?

Which software would you recommend for projection mapping and synchronization?

I’ve just tried MadMapper, but I’d like to learn about other software options as well.

Any advice on the best workflow or setup would be greatly appreciated.

Does BaZi/Feng Shui Work?

Hello
I’m currently learning about feng shui and BaZi.
I’d like to ask people who practise these disciplines, or those who’ve sought advice on these systems.
Does it work? What will it do for me? Is it worth it? Do you have any stories of it working?
A bit about myself: I’m looking into this mainly for business and financial matters

I'd like to hear your opinion

Hi everyone,

I’d really appreciate your opinion. Do you think this is worth pursuing?

I used to have an ice cream production business in Ukraine, which I closed in 2025. During the season, I was producing around 100 kg of ice cream per day on average. I focused on individual portions: ice cream in waffle cups, on sticks, and coated in chocolate glaze.

At the end of 2025, I left Ukraine and closed the production because I had the opportunity to move abroad.

I’m now in Belgium and currently receiving financial assistance while I’m integrating into society.

I’m considering whether it would make sense to get back into ice cream production here. I understand that there’s probably no point in starting this year — the season is basically over by the end of September, and I wouldn’t have enough time to set everything up properly. The market is also somewhat different from the Ukrainian one.

If I did it, I would probably focus mainly on ready-to-sell individual portions rather than tubs for supermarkets.

But I have some doubts.

I’m 23, and my biggest concern is that I don’t have much capital. Even if I started, the amount I could earn would be very small by my own standards.

When I was selling ice cream in Ukraine, I eventually reached a pretty good net profit after all expenses. But it took me two seasons to get there.

I’ve also had success in other areas, and I’ve had to start from scratch before. I know that it takes time to build something and reach the income level you want.

The problem is that now I’m in a new country and I don’t speak the local language well. I would really like to have at least enough income from the first month to cover my basic living expenses.

So I’m trying to figure out whether I should start this business again, and if so, what would be the smartest way to do it with very limited capital.

If you have any ideas on how I could approach this properly, I’d be very interested to hear them.

I’m also wondering whether it would make sense to try something already this year — for example, partnering with a small Belgian chocolate manufacturer that has its own shops. I could potentially produce the ice cream at their facility and sell it through their stores.

Do you think something like this could work, or would it be better to wait until next season and prepare properly?
