Booking holidays

Booking holidays

When booking holidays how far in advance do we need to book them? Just because my manager says we need to book our holidays in.

Am I meant to book it for days that aren’t already scheduled? Or does it not matter if I book ones what are scheduled

4 week review meeting for online shopper

So i had my 4 week review today, i was told im slightly under target my iph is 188 and target is 194, by week 4 you are meant to be hitting target, and the target needs to be hit before he can confirm my employment.

however he also said all 3 managers are completely happy with where i am at the minute, so im not sure.

also the managers are all extremely nice and the above points weren’t said in a rude manner, I just dont know what he meant by confirming my employment and how i should be hitting targets now but at the same time they’re all happy with where I am.

So does this mean if i dont hit targets soon I’ll get the sack or?

Lockers

Started as an online shopper a few weeks ago, and I never got told about lockers or anything.

I don’t have much that id need to put in anyway but how do they work? Do I just put my stuff in any locker or what. Obviously I can ask next time im in but that’s not for a few days.

Thanks in advance

Finishing early as an online shopper

So for the past 2 shifts we’ve finished all items half an hour early, which means I clock out 30min earlier so therefore won’t I technically get paid for all my contracted hours even though it wasn’t my fault we finish early?

So that’s 1hr pay what I’ve lost out on

Clip on security tags on steak

I’m an online shopper and how tf do you get these things off??

I can manage to do it sometimes but I don’t know the actual technique so end up standing there for ages trying to do it

edit: thanks all I didn’t realise the front had a button to press in as well as the back

Question about discount card

So for the online activation form I put the wrong name (my mum instead of dad).

if only my dad ever uses it should it be fine? As I don’t want to order new replacement cards just for this. I’m assuming they track it based on the card used so along as it’s only ever used on one card then it’ll be ok?

Can discount card nominated user use the card for online shopping?

I don’t order Sainsbury’s online deliveries, however my mum does and she’s the nominated user.

I understand only one account can be linked to the discount so could she use it on her account or not? Is the nominated user purely for in store purchases

How do you use the colleague discount card?

Just received mine in the post and although they’re not activated until the 24th, how do I actually use it in store?

Do I just scan it at the self checkout before paying like you do with a nectar card?

Just started as an online shopper so unsure how overtime works, yesterday I worked overtime to finish the shops and on UKG for that shift it says Overtime (pending).

so does this mean the manager has to manually accept it, and if so how long will it take them to do it what if they forget or don’t end up doing it?

So im a new starter and had my 3rd shift today, was getting iph of 140-150, my stores target is 194.

When I first started I was told you get 10 shifts to reach the target iph.

Just wondering what would happen if I didn’t reach the target within 10 shifts, for example what would happen if I was at 170 or so, would it just be straight dismissal?
