Help identifying a German Vienna-style wall clock (W. Germany dial, carved “Dorma Snow 1947”) + left winding arbor won’t turn

Hi all, I’m just getting into clock repair and picked up this spring-driven Vienna-regulator-style wall clock as a learning project. I’d love help identifying the maker and age, and some advice on a winding issue.

Best way to find a language exchange partner in San Diego?

Hey everyone! I’m a 32M looking for some advice on finding a local language exchange partner.

I’m currently B1-B2 in Spanish and A1 in German. I’ve tried Meetup, HelloTalk, and Tandem, but haven’t had much luck. For anyone who has found a good language exchange partner in San Diego, what worked for you? I enjoy grabbing coffee, going for a run, playing sports, and reading. I’m also into watching soccer, hockey, basketball, and baseball.

Are there specific groups, events, apps, classes, or places you'd recommend? I’d be happy to exchange English for Spanish or German.

Thanks!
