Budget vs Premium

I'm not going to sit here and say everyone needs a premium rifle. I'm generally in the camp of buying the best equipment you can reasonably afford, but the reality is that most people don't need top-tier gear. For what the vast majority of shooters do, a PSA will probably work just fine.

That said, one thing I've never understood is the weird reverse-snobbery that exists in some gun circles. You'll see guys with budget rifles constantly saying things like, "I guarantee I can outshoot the guy with the Daniel Defense or KAC." Maybe they can. Maybe they can't. But it's strange how often that comparison gets brought up in the first place.

Owning quality equipment doesn't automatically make someone a great shooter. Everyone knows that. But owning budget equipment doesn't automatically make someone a better shooter either.

Personally, I like premium gear because it's enjoyable to own, it's generally built to a higher standard, and if something isn't working, I know it's probably me and not the rifle. That's worth something to me.

What gets old is the assumption that anyone who spends more on gear is compensating for a lack of skill, while the guy with the cheapest setup somehow imagines he's a high-speed shooter running ten thousand rounds a year and taking classes every weekend. Most of us are just regular guys who like guns.

If you're happy with your PSA, great. If someone else wants a Geissele, LMT, DD, or KAC, that's fine too. I just don't understand why some people act like buying nicer equipment is somehow less rational than spending thousands on ammo and training. If you're already deep into the hobby, an extra few hundred dollars for a rifle you genuinely prefer isn't exactly crazy.

Mr762 A1 Flow Ti?

Anyone running this combo? Just bought a huxwrx flow 762ti for my mr762 (we will see if I can even get the oem muzzle device off hah) but I'm really excited to see how it is on the gun. I'm not after the quietest can in the world I just need to it take the edge off and not beat up the rifle and me. Seems like it's a good candidate for that atleast. Just curious on others impressions and experiences.

Spear LT w Omega valve + Hux Flow 762ti

Anyone running a 9inch 300 blk with an omega valve and a huxwrx flow 762ti? Whats been your experience going from supers to subs. Can you tune it enough to run both with the valve? I have heard the subs struggle with that can on that gun. I'll probably be going back and forth between subs and 110s tac tx. Just curious on people's experience. Is the omega valve gonna solve the under gassed issue with subs and still also allow me to run supers comfortably?
