I have finished Eternal. I'm contesting the consensus

Disclaimer: I have only beaten the campaign on Nightmare, I don't have the DLC

I recently finished Eternal after initially dropping it early.

The consensus I'm talking about is in regards to the difficulty of the new trilogy. What I hear the most is that Eternal is the most difficult. After finishing the game, I think the difficulty of Eternal is overrated. I attribute this to the high skill ceiling of the game. It's the highest of the 3 games, but the floor is the same as Dark Ages. I'd say both games are pretty equal in difficulty. I died more in DA.

Another thought: I should not have listened to the discourse around Eternal.. so much was argued about the weapon-swap meta that I figured the game wasn't for me. It really isn't as egregious as I thought it'd be. In fact, it's completely optional. I got through the entire game with pb+ballista, lock on rockets and SSG
