Hello ratkin, I come from 40K but am starting an AOS Skaven army after becoming a big fan of Thanqoul and really liking rattling guns and giant mutant rats with rattling guns grafted to their arms. I am working on a formula for skaven flesh using purple as an undercoat to give the appearance of darkness, in shadows or in a cave without using just black. I drybrushed purple over black before picking out the muscles with kislev flesh mixed with purple until I got to straight kislev flesh, shaded in between layers with Reikland flesh shaded the feet hands and tail are Bugmans glow with Agrax earthshade and highlighted with knight questor and ~30% Kislev. The photo is not best quality if you can make out the photos well I would like to hear anyone’s feedback.

I am trying to avoid the appearance of dead or necrotic flesh with the purple and keep it as visually reading as shadows in a rat tunnel or something

Did I do him justice?

I been thinking about these boys for months and I am thoroughly happy with how they turned out. How do you like them??
