Hi all,
the card outputs a picture but is not detected in windows. Mats shows read fail on FBIOB1. I got a replacement chip but after soldering i still get the same fail on Mats.
Is my couting wrong or anything else to check?
Voltages and resistance looks fine.

i got this card with artifacts under load and MATS showed a faulty VRAM chip. I changed it and afterwards the card passed but now it doesn't show up anymore in GPU-Z (before it did). I also tried another know good VRAM chip but same behaviour.
I also reflashed the bios but still nothing. Any ideas what i can do you where to look for a fault? I don't have any ripped off pads.

I already posted about my non-working Minisforum G7 PT. The original seller went out of business, so I contacted Minisforum support directly since the device is younger than 2 years. After some back and forth, they offered a one-time goodwill repair.
My own diagnostics before sending it in:
· All voltages present (19V, 5V, 3.3V, 1.2V)
· i made a short note with fault and troubleshooting i added to the package and also informed the support.
Minisforum kept the device for 10 days, then sent it back with the message: "repair unsuccessful" and a completely empty RMA report (see attached – just says "No power = no repair"). No diagnosis, no details. They closed the case and offered me a 20€ discount on a new purchase.
So now I have a 1000€ paperweight, no idea what's actually broken, and a 20€ coupon.
Has anyone here experienced something similar with Minisforum support? Any idea how to get a real technical report from them? Or should I just try to repair it myself?
