Xbox gamescom live broadcast is being held next week featuring P4R. If I had to bet id say it’ll be the second main trailer and afterwards they’ll finally reveal Teddie, Kanji, and Naoto’s VA’s before giving us their sizzle vids the following days.

Atlus announced a new P4R panel for September 5th. It’ll also be live streamed on their YouTube channel so it’s safe to say we’ll be getting some news. They’re also at gamescom in less than two weeks.

[SPOILERS] I seriously love how they made this boss fight in P4R look like the perfect mix of the original game and golden. I hope this stays true for the rest of the dungeons throughout the game especially the ones near the end.

[NO SPOILERS] Man the emotion that even Yu shows is soooo good. I’m probably wrong and just forgot but I rly don’t recall seeing this type of expression in p5 or p3r from the protag. Regardless I love how Yu looks here.

Wada confirms various new social interactions have been added to P4R that weren’t present in golden.

u/Duo_Vbez — 10 days ago

[NO SPOILERS] Wada yet again states that no characters personalities have been removed/changed for P4R. What was removed was the bike attacks which if you ask me is fair considering it was complete RNG and we already have more than enough mechanics. Some ppl may not like it tho.

After seeing the all out attacks I got so curious as to how the hell this is gonna work with teddie.

It can work when he’s outside of his bear suit but when he’s in it I seriously can’t imagine him running like how everyone else does because they are ZOOMING across the screen while he doesn’t even walk normally let alone run fast like them. Maybe he’ll have a unique animation while in the bear suit? It’s actually got me excited to see his sizzle now lol

Can’t be said enough how simple yet very effective these new camera angles are at giving life to these remade scenes. The angle paired with the expressions are too good.

Yukiko all out attack finish screen from the latest character trailer

u/Duo_Vbez — 13 days ago

[no spoilers] Yukiko sizzle when? 🫩

I completely forgot that we still need to get the Yukiko trailer and it’s been two weeks since the last one. I don’t think it’s crazy to expect one sometime this week but the constant content dropping that we had through June and July definitely has me feeling spoiled for wanting more lol

Atlus released a recap of anime expo which gives us the clearest version of the first part of the time to make history remix.

[NO SPOILERS] Not sure if this was posted already but P4Rs loading icon being the color bars of the original games menu is such a nice little detail

I like how you can just sit on the AOA screen while listening to the battle music until you choose to continue.

I also just noticed that the background changed after you sit on a for a bit, it zoomed into Yu’s portrait and the yellow part was all over the screens.

Other than the amazing 3D and cinematic camera work I think another standout thing that they’re doing for P4R is the depth of view.

I love how it’s not just being used for cutscenes either but for regular scenes too as it gives an even more cinematic feeling on top of the new camera angles.

No osts just the ambient sounds of the TV world and the footsteps of Yu. In my opinion I think they nailed the atmosphere of the original TV world and made it even creepier.

You can literally see the moment his heart breaks with how expressive the characters are now. [NO SPOILERS]
