What’s the best leadership course you’ve taken or would recommend?

Got promoted to team lead about three months ago and honestly I'm just winging it most days. I manage a group of 8 people now, mix of junior and senior, and I keep running into situations where I have no idea if I'm handling things right, especially around giving feedback and dealing with conflict between team members. My company offered to cover up to $1500 for a course or certification so I want to actually use that instead of letting it go to waste. I looked into a couple options on LinkedIn Learning but everything feels pretty surface level and not really built for someone brand new to managing people.

Anyone here taken something that actually changed how you lead, not just theory but stuff you could use the next day at work? Doesn't matter if it's online, in person, expensive or cheap, just want something that's actually worth the time.

Do you ever get lonely, or do you actually enjoy the silence?

I'm 27M and I've been living on my own for a while now, and it's been a completely different experience than I expected. At first, having the whole place to myself felt amazing because I could do whatever I wanted without anyone bothering me. But there are random nights when I realize I haven't had a real conversation with anyone all day, and the silence suddenly feels much louder than it did before. Other times, I honestly enjoy coming home to a quiet apartment, making dinner, watching a show, and just having time to recharge without any distractions. I guess it depends on the day, because sometimes living alone feels peaceful, and other times it feels a little isolating. Does anyone else go back and forth like this, or have you reached a point where you genuinely enjoy the silence all the time?
