Pls help... pls.

29M now, in really ill health.

Nov 2022 started feeling inner compression in the torso (like wearing a corset aroung my actual lung tissues). Previously not the best life habits (sedentary mostly, skinny fat, not very active) but no health concerns.

Jan 2023 - constant bitterness that lasted 2-3 months - that is how I looked into Covid and found Long Covid stuff (this has now resolved although pure black coffee to this day doesn't taste right).

Feb 2023 - brain fog but to be very accurate it just feels a sensation that blood is rushing into my head making my head feel full (and the pressure point seems to be in the brainstem). This is when unrefreshing sleep started happening.

March 2023 - was unvaccinated at that time (Big mistake, I know.... I regret it to the moon and back). But when I did the first jab 1 week later when I get out of prolonged bedrest (overnight sleep) I get up and my HR would shoots up from 70s to 140 but very briefly. And visual symptoms, these were like switched on, worse at night and havent disappeared - https://postimg.cc/FfBBHybJ - constant. Optometrist and Ophthalmologist cleared.

Did cardio, neuro, lung and opthamologic - all clear apart from one - tilt table returned "labile blood pressure". And physician said to not take anything for now.

That is what I did and I was starting to feel better, although I was reinfected (I was scared to take a 2nd jab because of what happened) in dec 2023. Then because I was too focused on achieving some milestones at work and I got depressed I started not eating right....

So from Dec 2023 till May 2024 I developed this low-grade motion sickness type of feeling (posioned but feels exactly like low-grade motion sickness as I have that since I was a child).

May 2024 had some family issues so I stayed up all night drinking monster zeros to do stuff and in the early morning all of a sudden how this gravity pulling me sensation and pain in the lungs and chest (which I believe is a sensation rather than tissue damage).

Also despite 97-99 oxygenation rate when I inhale I feel like I can't get a satisfying breath in - air hunger.

Since reinfeciton Dec 2023 - I have had AGAIN, cardio, neuro, lung work ups.

And when I say work ups I mean extensive multiple tests in each category this time.

All fine apart from two things - tilt again returned oscilitating blood pressure and after a nerve conduction and EMG were fine the QST showed an abnormality where on my foot when the temp sensation machine from cold to hot I get a tingling sensaiton.

Also I had an ANS panel with norepherine and adrenaline on standing which was fine. I was only assured it is not progressive.

I have tried clonidine, prop and ivarbradine to no avail. Although I tried them for a limited time - 5 days each.

New physician right now is trying me on midodrine based on a theory that I may have neuropathic POTS -> blood is pooling and the body goes into HyperPOTS mini overdrives. She said this should explains the gravity feeling and that there no such thing as truly distinct categories of POTS.

I am on 5mg 2x per day 4 hours apart now and it doesn't seem to make a difference. This makes me angry because while she is right on the categorisation of dysautonomia I JUST NEED RELIEF.

I fear I may have something making me feel posioned which is outside the ANS because literally 70% of the brutality doesn't change orthostatically. I dont faint. I dont have ME-CFS despite the unrefreshing sleep, because I can crank out a workout and not feel tangibly worse 24-96 hours afterward.

I have done two things - eating wise, exercising wise since May 2024 has been abysmal due to life stressors...

Quit nicotine gum (never smoker, but you guys/girls know the patches/gum studies for Long Covd), and have reduced my caffeine... and a better balanced diet.

Very hard... because if it is some OTHER crazy mechanism (different to dysautonomia, different to ME-CFS)... no idea where to start.

Despite standing catecholamines being normal I may actually be stuck in HyperPOTS?

Clonidine made me sleepy and the physician at that time insisted on it (because it is the only one "he knows and has experience")...

Perhaps... maybe 5 day trials are insufficient and I may have luck trialing Guanfacine (without quitting midodrine) because of its selectivity and better tolerance...

IDK, just looking for some hope and some opinions.

Question regarding keto as a scam

I tried keto, don't want to mess with carnivore.

The influencer business model is straightforward as well - keto will cure cancer blah blah. Rubbish.

However, what I dont like about the caloris in vs calories out argument is, while true, doesn't account for how EASY it is to stay in a caloric deficit. Food noise.

If it fits your macros (anyone remember that?) is probably just as much as a diet fad as keto/carnivore. Humans shouldn't need some level of accounting eveyday to make sure they don't overeat.

Should be autoregulating, just like how bad if you sleep poorly your brain and body make you crave food and then you pass out

Yes the main cause of obesity is probably sedentary lifestyles and ultra processed foods. As a European, I can understand how in the USA this can be to the next level - Takis and Doritos in all colours in every isle or 7/11. When I visited as a European I had a laugh. You need to be Europeanised asap.

But there are people who are also in this environment and remain slim, and claim they have a fast metabolism, which is a myth. They effortlessly remain in a caloric deficit.

Vegan, carnivore, keto, balanced, mediterranian you lose as most people ditch all the "posion" (high industrial fats and concentrated sugar caloric abundance over time) stuff.

GLP1 might be adressing this now but before it was a lot of people trying different stuff then regaining whatever. They regain even with GLP1.... So it kind of suggests that people who ARE fat/obese, WERE fat/obese have some genetic/epigenetic stuff that might have to be managed like a chronic condition.

Pre-GLP1 I tried keto (not carnivote - vegetables, olives, meat and fish basically, and yes anecdote I know) and what I felt was some hunger control effect I never expected tbh. I also could resist cravings.

These mechanisms are probably due to hormonal and cellular shifts that occur, alongside the benefits recorded in the literature (but short of the panacea that influences make it out to be). So it is kind of like a tool in the toolbox.

Life made me not stick to it as I had some family tragedies that needed to be managed and it took all my time.

I am overweight but now I am making progress on a diet that is fruit, vegetables, meat and fish...

For some reason, fruit satisfies my Hagen Dazs cravings, and because of the fructose does not spike my blood sugar compared to rice. Even when the rice is an a mixed

That is another point. In a calorie and macros matched diet... I feel a bit different after the rice meal compared to the fruit. Seems like another lever that can be pulled to leverage diet for wellness.

Fruit is accessible, cheap fruits and can eat it directly after washing or peeling so that makes "meal prep" easy. We will see how it goes. I want to try that before GLP1.

I don't think I have any allergies/sensitivies but I can see how someone can have eczema might discover it is triggered by some plant compound or whatnot.

Just how celiac disease or lactose intolerance is many times more common than meat intolerance etc.

What are your thoughts? I didn't come with bad intentions. Just curious.
