Opened up the mouse in places where people don’t touch the mouse” is such an confusing design decision, when there are a lot of people including me who grip their mouse like in a relaxed pincer claw like grip, where you contact the mouse in the spot on the palm directly under the pinky finger. On a fingertip focused shape sure, but when going for a GPX like safe shape to suit a lot of people why not just make a solid unibody shell? Oh and don’t get me started on the AI presentation…
