Need advice on ecu's n yzf/r or ybr custom?
I understand most of you will just say save the money for a bigger big but i like learning and working on bikes with my friend and smaller bikes are easy to work on and mainly i want to stay on cbt for a few years to master the 125s 🥴
My 2021 cb125f is obviously euro 5 and smashes it upto 65-72 then the limiter hits. So its annoying going downhill slightly on long straights and know that 5th gear can push more out of it.because of reading up hearing that euro 5 is harder to remap.
im now thinking of big bore kit maybe (just 150-185cc)my 2016 ybr custom as its not euro 5 and i notice it was going about 80 on the dash once with some incline so it doesn't have that limiter im trying to avoid.
Im battling the thought of upgrading ybr as a project because the difficulty of the euro 5 remap or just selling it n buying an older gen yzf/r for the same project but with 6 gears instead of 5 aswell as having a sports bike style to open up more. Anyone had any experience upgrading either the ybr custom or the older yzf/r
