Investment operations: where does reconciliation still require manual work?
I’m researching how asset managers, wealth managers and family offices reconcile positions, cash and transactions across banks, brokers, custodians and internal systems.
If you have worked directly with this process:
- How does the data arrive?
- What creates the most manual work?
- Which reconciliation breaks occur repeatedly?
- How much time does reporting or month-end consume?
We’re exploring a ledger and reconciliation product with a Finnish family office. I want to understand whether other investment teams experience the same problem.
