[July 23, 1946] Look. Frances Ramsden and her standard poodles.

Ramsden was a model who had a very brief acting career, appearing in only three films. She later married Egyptian millionaire Adel Sabit, a cousin of King Farouk, but had to abandon Cairo due to that association. She divorced in 1975 and returned to California, where she spent the remainder of her life, passing away in 2000 at the age of 80.

Chinese or Russian casualties in Vietnam POW raid?

This is a page from the July 2, 1976 Rocky Mountain News. I know that there was one or more attempts during the Vietnam War to free POWs, but this is the first time I've seen an article claiming largescale (or any) Chinese or Soviet casualties as a result of one.

I have to assume this article was in error, but has anyone seen such a claim about a raid such as this before?
