Did i miss a dose or is it just the taper?

So, i am on day 15 of a 10mg -> 6mg taper.

I was starting to feel slightly better these days symptom-wise, but tonight I am feeling awful again. I can't help but wonder it's normal or I just missed my morning dose. I really can't bring me up to remember if i took my medication this morning.

Did any of you guys feel bad at this day of taper or is it unusual?

A messy taper oops

I started Paroxetine 3 years ago. It worked pretty nicely actually, helped me stabilize and made me feel like myself again.

My Life Is now much Better and i've had the desire to get off of this thing. I've mostly been on 10mg, occasionally i have gone up to 15mg. I tapered by myself from 15 to 10 by scaling 1 mg every 1-2 weeks and I had absolutely no issue.

Recently i've been in a really messy moment of my Life: changes are occurring (i've bought a house, i've started Living with my boyfriend, so mostly really Happy changes!) but being autistic/ADHD i started forgetting to take my meds. After 4-5 days of not taking It i've felt okay so i was like "eh, i'll Just stop". I absolutely had no idea that the last mg are the harder to quit and have the most impact. Other 3-4 days have passed and I started feeling quite well guys: my libido came back and i felt much more in contact with my emotions. I only felt a Little depressed at the end of the day, but I know that i tend to feel like that when I am tired so I was like, this Is chill.

BOY WAS I WRONG

At day 11 i start feeling anxious out of nowhere. I get a panic Attack, which Is pretty unusual for me. Physical symptoms hit me like a ton of brick. Vertigo, headache, palpitation, muscolar pain, the feeling of an Electric current perpetually going through my brain. Brain fog, oh boy.

I realize its not my depression coming back, but that i tapered way too fast. I start taking again 5mg, because i really want off of this thing and i am too stubborn to go back to 10mg. It's day 4 of re-instating 5mg and... Ugh i really do not feel like myself.

Being at work has been hell. Luckily my Summer pto started so i get to stay home for 10 days.

Symptoms come and go:

-I do not have sudden brain zaps, i feel more like there's always electricity in my brain, it's so annoying.

- i feel kinda confused and slow

-vertigo

-sensitivity to lights and noise

-muscle and joint pain

-tiredness

-depersonalization

-anxious thoughts

-vivid Dreams and Deep sleep (this Is actually pretty nice, since ive been struggling with insonnia)

I've still been able to work though (in a shitty way..) and I've also being able to play a 2 hours set with my band Yesterday.

I am mostly autonomous but everything takes me much more Energy to get done. I hate this feeling because I had managed to put my Life together and I feel like I had Just started to fully live my Life... And then now i feel like I Lost myself again. I function, but i feel a Shell of a human. Many good things are happening and i do not wanna lose any One of them, but I feel trapped in my head.

When i feel very anxious I think I have been doing permanent damage to my brain with this stupid stupid stupid taper, but since ive been able to play and work... I tell my self maybe its not that bad haha...

I really Hope these symptoms will leave me alone and that i did not make a mess with my poor stupid brain.

Well, i Just wanted to talk to someone that can actually understand. So thank you if you're reading this. Plus, i could use some encouragement, so if you have a story to share, or someting to day I'd be Happy to read It.

Cheers guys
