I kept wondering is the actress mother role is also true? Because at least as far as the movie goes, she is equally accountable for ruining the innocent actress life by forcing her to get into a relationship with the creepy director (everybody knows who)

Also, the movie shows the old city mentality and how the majority of ‘’peaceful community’’ people are anti national. How much different the times are now compared to then. Is it worse or better. Because I believe the movie is not at all exaggerating the reality of old city people.
