Hi everyone,
I recently finished my A1 German with a score of 95/100. I’m planning to move to Germany on the Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) and my goal is to reach a solid B2 level to work as an Electrical Electronics Engineer
I have two main questions:
- Timeline: Based on A1 score, realistically how many months of intensive study should I expect to reach a professional B2 level?
- Strategy: Is it better to finish B1 in my home country and then do B2 in Germany, or should I try to grind all the way to B2 before leaving to be more "job-ready" the moment I land?
I’d love to hear from anyone who moved for engineering or used the Opportunity Card. Thanks!
