How feasible is it to remove 1mm jst plug and solder receiver directly to flight controller?
I have a flight controller with 1mm just plugs I’ve been fighting for days. The plugs refuse to hold onto the wire or the metal inserts break.

I have fully assembled and set up everything (in betaflight) on my first 5 inch quad build and I cannot get the motors to spin. I’ve tried reflashing the fc in betaflight and inav, remapping the motors, playing with many settings in betaflight and even swapping the cable between the fc and esc. I tried to reflash the esc firmware on esc configurator and BL heli suite, both programs connected but neither could read the esc. All of my testing has involved using the radio and betaflight/inav to send signal to the motors.
I have the hglrc f4606s v1 stack currently running betaflight firmware (fc).
If you need any more info or images just ask.
I pulled the board from an Inspiron 5490 AIO. How will could I power it with a battery? Originally it just plugged into the wall. On top of that where do I find the right screens and keyboards? It’s my first time trying to build a deck.
