Monthly pass and zones

Hi all, I've just accepted a new position that will have me commuting via MARC train into DC, and I have a question about the monthly pass usage that I can't seem to get a straight answer for.

I live very close to the Savage station, so I'll typically use the Camden line to get into the city. However, I have a recurring doctor's appointment every Friday morning, and even if I were to schedule it as early as possible, I still wouldn't be able to make the final train before morning service on the Camden line ended. Instead, I would have go to Odenton on the Penn line to get into the city.

The 31 day pass price is the same between both routes (Savage to DC and Odenton to DC), which indicates that they're both in the same zone and transferable, but I can't find anything online to confirm this. Am I right, or would I simply have to purchase a one-way ticket into DC every Friday from Odenton?

Good luck salvaged from a bad start

We knew my wife’s (36f) stage 4 endometriosis was going to make IVF difficult, but it was still a gut punch to hear that we only got two eggs from our first retrieval this past Monday.

Today, we learned that both of those eggs became blastocysts!

Fingers crossed that our lucky streak continues as we proceed with an implantation in a few weeks. Godspeed, little fighters.

So what do we think of the second generation Supersede?

Definitely a fan of the technical improvements - the fact that my watch will be retrofitted with that new flexible gear train when I send it in for service is awesome and much appreciated from a consumer standpoint. I also like the new power reserve the more I look at it. The skeletonized hand is more legible, and switching the icons to a "+ -" reduces the number of colors on the dial. I will say that not switching the top half of the 24h register to perfectly match the dark sky colorway (at least it looks that way in the renders) feels like a very minor miss, but it seems that bit by bit the aesthetics of their watches are becoming more broadly appealing.
