I recently purchased the Red Wing IR, 8085 Copper Rough & Tough cap toe boots. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this boot!! I’ll be getting them recrafted to add a leather midsole very soon. Just waiting on red Dainite studded full rubber sole and heel. Anyway I ♥️ them!

Got a pair of Cedar boot trees from Ebay yesterday and have to say for $29.99 they are very good!! They are Stratton boot trees in case anyone wants to check them out!!
Got my first pair of IR’s in the mail yesterday and while I was nervous about the fit they turned out to fit perfectly!! I added an insole as I find the rawness of Red Wings horrific!! The amount of lettuce 🥬 we pay for RW’s you think they might pay more attention to that but I digress !! I ♥️ these boots the most of the 3 !! Beckman 9022, Moc Toe 1907 and these 8084’s. I Am going to have the soles replaced as they are just too hard. Considering the Dr Soles full green sole with the thick leather midsole!! I’m hoping that does it cause I really like these 8084’s

You really need to try on most of these models to make sure they fit right cause they are different ! Mine fit great right outta the box, I bought a 7 1/2 but was expecting to buy a 6 1/2 !! Unless you know exactly what size you wear don’t just buy all Willy Nilly thinking you may get lucky cause you will not !! I also ordered a black pair of Iron Rangers!!!
I have been an Open Road fan for some time but in just the last 5 years have I been collecting them. Isn’t that what we call our sickness ?😆 I got a chocolate OR, a Cognac Open Road and an Original Open Road!! I’ve also got a Silverbelly felt OR that I’ll post up later !!!
I started at close to 200lbs. Doesn’t sound over weight right?? Well at 5’5”
and small in stature, for example my pants inseam is 27” and before my GLP 1 journey my waist line was, at its biggest was 36” NOW??? I have a 30” waist and weighed in this morning at 137.5 so yea, it changed my life!!!
