Am I crazy for considering 5th floor walk up apt?

We have been looking for an apt to move for a while and as a lot of ppl know market in NYC as bad as it ever been. I did find a great apt in great location with everything I need but it’s a walk up. I do have space downstairs for stroller. I do have husband who would do heavy lifting after delivery and also will be able to order groceries.
I feel like I can do it(does have outdoor space that I can use right after if I want a fresh air), but I’m a first time mom and used to live in elevator buildings.
Physically wise I’m in my 30s and usually pretty active and fit, now at 34 weeks I mainly do walks and stretching and I’m sure I would not love doing stairs before delivery but I can do it slower)

Any thoughts? Maybe someone experienced moving to walk up before baby )

Have you used doula and if yes, how was your experience ?

I’m still trying to decide if I need one. I have friends who used doulas and had a great experience, but have others who had terrible experience and said it was a waste of money. I did some interviews and I’m still trying to figure out if it’s something I need.

Night nurse costs in NYC/ live-in vs live-out?

Hi everyone! I’m a first-time mom due in fall and I’m trying to understand what the current market looks like for overnight newborn care in NYC.
For those who hired a night nurse/newborn care specialist:

How much did you pay (hourly or per night)?
Did you hire a live-in or live-out night nurse?
If you used a live-out night nurse, how many nights per week did you book them, and for how many weeks?
If you were breastfeeding, how did the arrangement work? Did the nurse bring the baby to you for feeds and then handle everything else afterward?
Looking back, would you choose the same schedule again or do something differently?

I’ll be very involved and plan to breastfeed, but my husband won’t be able to take much time off work, so I’m trying to figure out what setup makes the most sense.
Thank you!

Stroller recommendations for Manhattan?

Hi everyone!

I’m due in September and starting to get overwhelmed by all the stroller options.
We live in Manhattan, don’t own a car, and expect to walk a lot every day.

We’re looking for a stroller that:
1.Works from birth with a bassinet.
2.Will be our primary stroller for daily walks around the city.
3.Handles uneven sidewalks well.

Doesn’t need to be compatible with a car seat—we’re borrowing a Doona for the occasional Uber/taxi ride, so that’s already covered.

Bugaboo/Uppababy/Cybex/Silver Cross/Nuna?

If you live in Manhattan , which stroller did you end up loving?
or one you’d avoid?

I’d especially love to hear from parents who walk everywhere and used the bassinet during the newborn stage.
Thanks so much!
