Does Adore 48 honey brown work?

I have black twists and was planning on dyeing it with the Adore Semi Permanent Hair Color 48 Honey Brown which I bought from Amazon. But I'm really new to it so I didn't know you needed to bleach it or use other add on product for it to work.

I want to get some of my twists to look like the two reference pics and didn't know there were extra steps.

Will it still look honey brown if I just apply it normally? I need help 😅
