Peri and dehydration

So I get fairly regular blood tests for liver and kidney function (they've been struggling a bit) and my latest results had some yikes numbers that when I looked up, were related specifically to dehydration. This was news to me, I thought my water intake was okay, and I don't drink alcohol, coffee or tea at all.

But further investigation (in the early hours because my brain refuses to switch off) found a bunch of articles talking about dehydration as a peri symptom, because we are less able to regulate body temp AND the "feed me water I'm thirsty" receptors aren't working like they used to. Of course, precisely none of this came from GP, the only note was retest in a month. Goddamn I hate GPs.

So. Has anyone else experienced this? Have you glugged your water today?

Are S11 and S12 worth watching?

Hi all, first time watcher, just finished S10 ep22.

This sincerely felt like a series finale. Is it worth continuing? For context, my current fave characters are Aubrey, Caroline, and Hodgins. I find the massive decrease in chemistry between Booth and Brennan just plain upsetting. I also know there will be people killed off, accidents, and another bloody time jump.

(I loved the early seasons so much, so if that magic returns, will definitely watch.)

S10 Pelant fizzer

So I'm in S10, and just watched the episode in the abandoned power station.

WTH??????

After everything, all the twists and turns and diabolically clever and evil ways Pelant messed with the FBI and Jeffersonian team...that was it? Meh. Not a showdown, just a sad trombone sound.

Fave non-aristo HR bad boys??

I have a need! Looking for the underworld lords, the gaming hell owners, petty crims, gang types with their own rigid moral code who fight hard and love harder. Bonus if he falls for someone outside his sphere. Any era but high steam please!

I know many of us love/prefer historical accuracy to a point in our romances. Eg correct use of titles, general society norms, laws, travel, fashion, food etc.

But is there something you KNOW is complete bullcrap but devour it anyway? Because I need to publicly confess my love of Victorian medical "hysteria" treatments with the funky vibrator machines. Lol.

Anyone else? (And if you have a particular romance or author who does the inaccuracy so well you don't care, please share!)
