How do you guys usually buy digital games? Since there’s no Sri Lankan PS Store, which country should I make my PSN account for?
Also, what do you guys use for PS Plus? Which region/plan is the easiest to buy and renew from Sri Lanka?
Would really appreciate some advice from anyone using a PS5 here.
Thanks!
With the current prices, I think the PS5 and the Pro are assets comparing to Xbox or Pc because of the rise in price
Sony has unveiled its Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR), an AI-enhanced upscaler for the base PS5 console. The streamlined version of the PS5 Pro’s PSSR already produces cleaner image quality in games like Marvel’s Wolverine. Digital Foundry has discussed how the new option could affect GTA 6 performance.
It’s unclear whether Rockstar intends to implement QSSR in a GTA 6 PS5 release date build. Stretched for resources, players may need to wait for a post-launch patch. Digital Foundry also explained why the technology may not be a good fit for the project. Nevertheless, it lurks as a solution to the lack of sharpness noted in the Netflix Extended Look trailer
players and developers have asked whether similar image-quality improvements could be brought to the PS5 console. PSSR analyzes game images pixel by pixel and uses AI to upscale them with more detail and stability than conventional approaches; until now, its computational demands made bringing that experience to PS5 impossible.
Today, we’re excited to announce Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR): a new performance tier of AI upscaling. Born from Project Amethyst, our AI graphics collaboration with AMD, this quick new evolution of PSSR is built on two key innovations:
A streamlined neural network architecture
A hand-tuned implementation that maximizes performance on PS5
With these, we are bringing the benefits of AI-guided upscaling to PS5. While PSSR remains the gold standard on PS5 Pro, QSSR provides some notable improvements to both image detail and image stability on PS5.

the best place with a legit warranty and a legit item ?
Guys, I’m looking to buy a used PS5 for under 200k. What should I look out for when buying a used one? I’ve never used a PlayStation before.
Anyone here that has pre ordered GTA6? I do not have a PS5 and I do not know how to buy PS5 games here so I have a couple of questions.
I want to buy a PS5 but I do not want to buy brand new, I dont mind a used cheap one as long as it is in good condition. Any place where I can get one?
Secondly, how to buy GTA6 here? Is the store available in our region?
Thanks.

Hi need to repair a friend's ps5, preferably in colombo
Hey guys,
Looking for recommendations on where Sri Lankans usually buy digital PS4/PS5 games and PS Plus subscriptions.
I've mostly used the PlayStation Store, but sometimes the prices are quite high because of exchange rates, so I'm curious what alternatives people here use.
Any trusted sellers or experiences (good or bad) would be appreciated. 🙌
