Why is genioplasty so hated here
I have class 2 division 2 but the surgeons keep blabbering about how the discrepancy is mild
so why go for jaw surgery at all and just get a genioplasty , same thing for others as well

Class 2 division 2 case with deep bite
Class 2 Division 2 mildly recessed mandible accroding to my CT scan , I have deep bite but no functional issues
I’m already 3 months in braces decompemsating ( they wanted to assess true skeletal discrepancy to make a decision ) but I’m getting scared of a BSSO now .
i think I was biting down fully in all these pics
