Proof I Have a Heart!
Print of the month, here we go again!
This month I was bored, so I decided I would find a fun project to make. I landed on this (https://www.printables.com/model/233261-iron-man-arc-reactor) Mk1 Arc Reactor. It looked great, but was missing a few things (it didn't have a place for a battery or arduino). I opened it up in onshape, changed the rear cover from a remix, and printed. It took 2-3 iterations, but I eventually got it to fit perfect. It runs off USB, the 5-12v barrel jack, or a 9v battery. The only constraint is that the 9v battery only lasts for around 4 hours before dying. This is fine for my use case, as its only running off battery power whenever I do engineering presentations at schools in my local area (Kids love this sort of 3D print). The rear cage and front rings are made in prusa galaxy black PLA, the light up parts are made in sunlu white PETG, and the rest is in black PLA.
Oh, and as a bonus, I did my first hueforge! I decided I would do a 5 color one (black, blue, red, orange, white) of my favorite fight scene in avenger infinity war! Filaments were changed manually, but this is fine for now because I will eventually be getting INDX.
I never follow the print of the month theme haha.
TL;DR: I made a light up arc reactor and a doctor strange hueforge.
