Kind of a repost/update but.. The other night a girl (31F) I’ve been speaking to for 2 months and I (28M) had our first kiss. I asked her to kiss at her car and she said yes. We kissed and she was giggling and seemed so happy.

Fast forward to yesterday and today.. our conversations dropped off a cliff. I didn’t hear from her normally in the morning yesterday but she popped up around mid afternoon with a sorry I was so busy and then she checked in when she got home before bed at around 10pm.

This morning she replied to my text but definitely seemed to close the conversation. Her text was more of a “work is going to be crazy, wish me luck”.

I just feel this is all too coincidental to not be an outcome of our kiss. What’s keeping me sane is that she had 4-5 opportunities to cut communication with me but hasn’t.

Has anyone experienced this post first kiss lull? I plan on trying to break this status update texting tonight and try to confirm plans we spoke about in person after our kiss for Friday once she gets out of work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

I (28M) went on my third date with this girl (31F) I’ve been talking to and we kissed for the first time. After the kiss she was giggling so hard (I think this was a good sign). We chatting for a bit and then I kissed her again goodbye. I noticed what felt like an immediate vibe shift. She took long to let me know when she got home but when she did she confirmed she had fun and thanked me. Today I didn’t hear from her all morning when we normally talk before work. She wound up reaching out apologizing for the delay.

Is this normal post first kiss? I understand if it gets scary but it’s starting to cause me some anxiety too. We mentioned setting plans today for this Thursday or Friday and now I feel like I’m walking on egg shells and don’t want to ask until tomorrow.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been talking to this girl for over 2 months and we just recently had our first date last week. (Vacations etc got in the way of us meeting sooner). We have hit it off.. went to dinner twice and spoke for over 2 hours each time.. good laughs etc. My question is, do you think she wants to or is looking to kiss?

She tells me she is thinking of me when she draws at her sip and paint with friends. She called me very handsome. She said she loves my adorable moments and has spoken a couple times about plans/fun things to do in the future (literally months away). I am torn between going for it during our goodbyes tonight or just flat out asking. I am 30 and she is 32.
