Offering: English | Seeking: Arabic

Hi everyone,

23M, I’m looking for someone to practise Arabic with through texting or voice chat. I can offer English conversation practice in return.

My Arabic is around intermediate level. I studied Modern Standard Arabic in the past, mainly to understand my religion and the Quran better and I’ve also lived in the Middle East for a little while, so I picked up some Levantine Arabic as well.

I’m mainly looking for relaxed speaking practice rather than formal lessons. I’d be happy to practise MSA or Levantine, and as a native British individual can help with English.

Feel free to comment or DM if interested. Thanks!

Looking for Arabic speaking practice

Hi everyone,

I’m based in London and I’m looking for a relaxed way to practise speaking Arabic in person — ideally something like a social club, meetup, conversation circle, or language exchange rather than a formal paid class.

I’m mainly interested in practising spoken Arabic and meeting people who are also learning or native speakers who are happy to do Arabic/English exchange. I’m open to different dialects, but I’d especially appreciate recommendations for any regular groups, cafés, community events, university societies open to non-students, or free/low-cost meetups.

Has anyone come across anything like this in London?
