Im sewing a dress, using one dress I have as a base. It's a satin slip, and fits me really well on... however getting it on is the issue. Proportionate wise, my hips and bust measurements are larger than my underbust/waist.

My dilemma is that the dress is supposed to be open back... yet fitted (enough). I don't really want to install a zipper because I'm not an expert at sewing and when I've tried that in the past it looked terrible. I was thinking darts, but how can I make them work? The dress tapers nicely to fit my body, and by adding darts im scared it'll either look ugly or mess with the fit. I just need to be able to get ts on lmao. Any recs? I can post a picture of it if it helps

Im portland local, but never really get into the city to each much. My birthdays next week and my man is treating me to dinner (yay!) Best recs? I want somewhere nice but not too expensive, like $30-50 per meal. I dont drink. I love overdressing so somewhere nice to sit down is preferred, but of course, i want some delicious food :)
