Just finished 'The ABC Murders'

Just finished 'The ABC Murders'

Although the cover and the title implied that it is not going to be a whodunnit like Christie's other books I have read so far, but still even being a crime thriller, not only it delivered a tinge of whodunnit, also an unexpected twist.

Spoilers Ahead:

>!When it was closer to the end, I was thinking that each one of them was involved in the murder and had framed ABC, but I couldn't figure out as to why they all wrote to Poirot but eventually after reading the whole thing made the twist more plausible.!<

Loved the book but I was expecting a clue based murder mystery

Nonetheless, I loved the book and the Hitchcockian styled narrative was not expected by me. I was under the impression that it would be a clue based classic Poirot mystery.

Since I didn't do any research and just ordered from blinkit because I wanted to read a Christie so bad.

The ending plot twist did not impress me enough but the plot was good and l liked the characters.

Next Read (Sure for this time):- The ABC Murders

Just finished "Lord Edgware Dies"

Let's just say that I was simply amazed. I had read a few bad reviews about it on reddit and was not expecting much but the twist was twisted in the end. Although I still have a few complaints.

Spoilers Ahead (Although I have hidden it but still):

First of all, >!I believe that ripped paper was a very convenient evidence and it felt more like the author is helping Poirot to solve the mystery. I know the letter only gave a little direction but still it played a major role in his conclusion.!<

Secondly, >!I still don't get the fact that Edgware had to die. Maybe I am Hindu that's why it's hard for me to comprehend but still, if she is either a widow or a divorcee, how does it matter.!<

But overall, I liked the book. A few days back I had finished 'The murder on the Orient Express', and it was marvellous.

HappyFares Scam? Paid Rs. 8000 on Skyscanner, but Air India Express is asking for Rs. 1200 at web check-in!

Hi everyone, I need some urgent help and advice regarding a flight booking I made through Skyscanner, which redirected me to HappyFares. A few days ago, I booked a flight and paid a total of Rs. 8,000. Everything looked fine, and I got my booking details.

However, today when I went to do my web check-in on the official Air India Express website, it shows that my balance payable is Rs. 1,200. I am completely confused about why this is happening. I have already paid the full Rs. 8,000 upfront, and even the promo offer I used was only for Rs. 400. Why is there an additional Rs. 1,200 charge during check-in?

Did anyone else face this issue when booking via HappyFares? Should I pay this on the airline website and fight with the OTA for a refund, or is this some kind of hidden processing/seat fee?

My Goal is to read every POIROT book ever made

I just finished "Murder on the Orient Express" and a few months back I read, "And there were none".

And I found these two to be the finest murder mysteries I have ever read. Technically I have read only two in my lifetime but still it counts.

Jumping into "The ABC Murders" from tomorrow and will start with the "Death on the Nile" next. Really Excited for it.

So what's your favourite Agatha Christie's and what should I read after those latter two mentioned books?
