Hey everyone,

If you've been around the Rec Room revival scene for any amount of time, you already know the pattern. A new server pops up, runs a 2020+ build, pulls in a crowd for a week or two, and then quietly dies. We've all seen it happen more times than we can count.

RoboRec is our answer to that problem.

What is RoboRec?
RoboRec is a Rec Room revival project built around the 2018 build — a version that no other active revival is currently running. We chose 2018 specifically because it supported a wider range of platforms, featured a more stable UI, and offered an experience that genuinely stands apart from what everyone else is doing.

What makes us different?

• 2018 build exclusively — unique in the current revival landscape
• Dedicated server infrastructure, not a home PC
• A community that has a real say in how things develop
• Transparent development with regular updates

Where are we right now?
We are currently in early development. We are not rushing a launch just to get players in the door. We would rather take our time and do this right than push something out half-finished.

Because if you're tired of revivals that all look and feel the same, RoboRec was built specifically with you in mind. We made deliberate choices at every step to ensure we are building something with actual staying power.

I want my grandma to play rec room for the first time on screen mode before it shuts down, what games should I let her play that would make her like it? idk cause the front page is full of brain rot and I just want to show her that there's some good out of the game
