Roots touch-up question
I bleached my virgin hair for the first time ever myself last autumn and I have 5 inches of virgin roots right now. Didn’t use any toner, just left it as it was. I’m thinking it’s time for a regrowth bleach.
My question is: do hairdressers tone all your hair after bleaching your roots?
I love the exact shade of my bleached hair and I’m scared that the hairstylist could mess it up with a toner. I’m afraid to do my roots at home but I don’t trust hairstylists after a few very disappoiting visits (unrelated to hair coloring but still idk how some of them just mess up your hair instead of admitting of not being able to do something before).
I would’t even strive for the roots to be a 1:1 match as my bleached hair is only 1-2 tones lighter than my natural color, it doesn’t look too drastic. So I want to lighten my roots but I’m scared what if all my hair turns different after a visit?
Does this ever happen or I shouldn’t be too scared?
